Because we were inspired by the Winter Olympics, we had a safe and fun game of floor hockey. No ice but it was still cold!
Part of our Movement unit is using the jump rope! We did the basics and will try new "tricks" next time. For our unit on invasion games we played line tag. Object of the game is for attackers to go through the "lines" and make it to the other end of the playing area without being tagged. Students inquired about stance and technique and how these can improve their target skills. |
This year, Mr. Q is also teaching Personal, Social and Physical Education (PSPE) to Upper Elementary. In the PYP, PSPE is taught through 3 strands: identity, active living, and interactions.
